Good morning. My name’s Hanh and I’m from Danh Thang Secondary School, Today, I’m going to tell you about how to protect the environment.

But I think we should find out what environment is first. Environment is everything outside and surround people, not by the hand of man has made. As the sky, the sea, a river, a stream,… All these things are always there to protect and help people.
 

    Enviroment is neccessary thing for our life. Enviroment provides us with air to breath, water to drink, land to live and so on. But now it is seriously polluted.  The air is damaged by lorry fumes and car,factoríe. Power stations create acid rain which spoils source of water and forests. When people burn  fossil fuels such as gas, oil and coal for cooking, lighting. they form polluting gases. People polluted not only the land but also the sea. Oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste, sewage  and fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, spread disease, and kill wildlife. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create rubbish! Each household produces about one tonne of rubbish each year! Most of these are directly pump into the source of water, which is harmful for environment.

   It’s high time for us to protect the environment. Pollution could be prevented by all thing we do each day. First people can use recycled paper to save trees Beside, we should plant more and more trees. Green trees not only purify the air but also beautify our country. Moreover, trees give us shadow which protect our skin from strong light.. Second, try to avoid using plastic. It is hard to recycle. People should use cloth bags instead. If people can not avoid buying plastic bags, they should use re-use plastic bags many times. Finally people also should save energy to protect environment. Switching off all electric things when they are not in use. Let’s  replace personal vehicles with bicycles or public transports. By this way, we can reduce traffic jam, pertrol consumption and air pollution.     .
